Description

Tactile signal plates

Tactile signal plates with studs in shape of truncated cone and strips in shape of longitudinal rib are recognizable by the feet and the white cane and can also be captured visually. The most important task of the signal strips is to guide to an important place, so its grooves must point perpendicular to the place it marks. The signal strip is mainly used to guide the blind person in front of the passage/zebra and the separation of the sidewalk and the cycle path.

Although tactile indicators are used by blind or partially sighted people, the design and installation of tactile indicators should take into account the needs of people with reduced mobility.

  • Tactile signal plates are ideal for retrofitting
  • Placement of tactile signal plates in accordance with the applicable national standard
  • Quick and easy installation
  • They are suitable for application to interiors and exteriors
