High quality glowing in the dark escape tape
OLEJAR High quality glowing in the dark escape tape is a smooth photoluminescent tape and unlike our regular glowing in the dark tapes, its strength is in amount of time it glows during the power outs. There two versions:
- OLEJAR High quality glowing in the dark escape tape has an A classification and will take approximately 450 minutes (7,5 hours) to reach 0,32 mcd/m2
- OLEJAR Super quality glowing in the dark escape tape has a C classification and will take 1800 minutes (30 hours) to reach 0,32 mcd/m2
DIN67510 and ISO standards classify photoluminescent materials into four main classes: A, B, C and D.
These classes categorize photoluminescent materials according to their brightness (luminance) which is expressed in millicandelas per square meter (mcd/m2). In practice, an ordinary wax candle emits light about 1 candela (there are 1000 millicandela in a candela). Photoluminescent materials are classified based on what they initially emit and how long it takes to reach 0,32 mcd/m2 (a level at which the human eye can no longer see the light).
